Mae Kha Canal is an interesting check-in point for those visiting Chiang Mai.
Mae Kha Canal in Chiang Mai Province is a newly improved and developed tourist attraction with an atmosphere similar to Otaru Canal in Japan. Mae Kha Canal is over 30 kilometers long, with its source at Doi Suthep and flowing through Chiang Mai to the Ping River. In the past, Mae Kha Canal was an important canal for water drainage and was the main route for water travel. However, due to the expansion of Chiang Mai City and the problem of wastewater disposal, the water quality has deteriorated and has become narrower.
