Wat Arun Ratchawararam (Wat Chaeng)
Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, commonly known as Wat Phra Kaew, is the most important and famous temple in Thailand. It is located in the grounds of the Grand Palace in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok. Wat Phra Kaew enshrines the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred and revered Buddha image in Thailand.

Founded: Wat Phra Kaew was built during the reign of King Rama I of the Rattanakosin period in 1782. Architecture: Wat Phra Kaew has beautiful and delicate architecture, which is a blend of Thai and Lao arts. The temple consists of several beautifully decorated buildings, such as the Ubosot, the Vihara, the Phra Monthian Tham Hall, and the Ho Trai. Emerald Buddha: The Emerald Buddha is a Buddha statue carved from green jade. It is approximately 66 centimeters tall. The Emerald Buddha is a sacred Buddha statue that is highly revered by Thai people.
